Tree fiftytwo, the last tree

March 21, 2011

I eventually realise that the first tree was drawn around April 18 2010 so I've actually hit tree 52 about 3 weeks early.  This tree was drawn from a slightly different angle back in week 4  Then it was covered with leaves and a dense and solid looking thing.  Now, just coming into spring it looks like a screwed up ball of fine wire.

tree fortyseven

February 10, 2011

This tree sits in one of the myriad entrances to Riverside Park in Bitterne.  It's still naked and looking raveged by winter, the only hint of green two balls of mistletoe high in it's branches.
